The Directorate of Finance is responsible for the financial management and stewardship of JKUAT's resources. It oversees budgeting, revenue collection, financial reporting, and compliance with public finance regulations.

Key Functions

Budget Planning

Prepare and implement annual budgets aligned with the university's strategic objectives.

Revenue Collection

Oversee tuition fee collection, grants management, and other income streams.

Financial Reporting

Produce annual financial statements and reports in compliance with IPSAS and the Public Universities Act.

Payroll Administration

Manage staff remuneration, statutory deductions, and benefits.

Procurement Support

Work with the Procurement Directorate to ensure financially sound procurement decisions.

Internal Controls

Establish and monitor financial controls to prevent fraud and mismanagement.
