The following courses are currently on offer at JKUAT Mombasa Campus in part-time modes: A Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in a relevant field PhD Programmes run for a period of 3 years, 2 years of course work and 1 year of research work. Bachelors degree with first class honors, Upper second class honors or lower second class plus two years relevant experience for those with a pass pass they should go for a postgraduate diploma before proceeding with masters. Masters programmes run for 3 semesters of coursework and one semester of research, though the maximum period allowed is 2 calendar years. The campus admits students thrice per year in January, May and September. The campus runs a trimester systems, which reduces the total calendar time spent by students in the university by up to one-third. The following degree courses are currently on offer at JKUAT Mombasa Campus both in full time and part-time modes: Mean grade C+ in KCSE with C in Mathematics and C in English /Kiswahili OR KACE certificate with minimum of two principal passes and a minimum of credit pass in mathematics at KCE OR Diploma with a credit pass or professional certificate holder and diploma in a relevant area from an institution recognized by the university senate. Holders of diploma with at least a credit pass or professional certificate holder in relevant field from an institution recognized by the university senate are eligible for a one academic year exemption. The following courses are currently on offer at JKUAT Mombasa Campus both in part-time and full time modes: For DIT KCSE Grade C with at least C- in Mathematics and English OR KCE Div II OR Credit pass in any relevant certificate, The rest KCSE Grade C- with a C-in Mathematics and English OR KCE Div III with atleast Credit in Mathematics and English. Certificate programs run for 4 months both full time and part time.

The Executive Training Center in collaboration with various local and international partners trains in specialized technical and non-technical corporate-level short courses. The Executive Training Center is situated at JKUAT Mombasa CBD Campus. The center has trained personnel for over 50 organizations and agencies. These include government ministries and agencies, parastatals, and NGOs.
